Jerry Sandusky was born in Washington Penn, to Evelyn Mae and Arthur Sandusky. His paternal grandparetns were Polish immigrants and his mother came for a small coal-mining town.

After retirement from football, Sandusky started a charity organization called The Second Mile. Aimed at helping impovrished children get the same opportunities as others, unfortuantely Sandusky used this as his personal dating charity.

Now it's a race to remove any accolaids given to Sandusky. Angels in Adoption rescinded its earlier 2002 award to Sandusky "in light of the serious allegations against him, and to preserve the integrity of the Angels in Adoption program."
